Ecology Communications is developing a comprehensive partnership and affiliate program for The Ecology Global Network that will include:
Broadcast Affiliates in radio, television and telephony
Strategic Partners including the NGO community, government bodies, international agencies, foundations, associations, and private sector concerns; and
Business Partners in production, distribution, merchandizing, on-line sales and services and joint ventures.
Partners and affiliates will enter into collaborative and reciprocal relationships with the Ecology Global Network with respect to such matters as content development, coproduction and co-distribution, joint public forums, sharing of libraries, resources and contacts, broadcasts, consumer and trade marketing, business-to-business activities, education, retail, advertising, sponsorship and other matters to be explored.
The Ecology Partnerships and Affiliate Program will be formally opened on this site shortly including a listing of those who have come on board in this launch period. We will then want to be in contact with you to explore partnership and affiliation with us. Below is an indication of some with whom we are working now.

The Center for Environmental Filmmaking (CEF) was founded on the belief that environmental and wildlife films are vitally important educational and political tools in the struggle to protect the environment. CEF’s mission is to train filmmakers to produce films and new media that are highly entertaining, ethically sound, educationally powerful, and effective at producing social change.
Filmmakers for Conservation (FFC) is the global conservation organisation and charity for the film and television industry. Essential to the success of FFC is the diversity of its members and supporters. To be truly effective the organisation works with the support and input from the entire film, television, conservation community and all interested parties. FCC’s mission is to inspire, educate and motivate new audiences to actively participate and support conservation.
The Center for Health and the Global Environment was founded in 1996 at Harvard Medical School to expand environmental education at medical schools and to further investigate and promote awareness of the human health consequences of global environmental change. By focusing on health, the center is able to reach people in concrete, personal terms they can relate to and understand, and to make the strongest possible case that human beings are an intimate part of the environment and that we cannot damage it without damaging ourselves.
The Ocean Channel, Inc. is a new-media corporation based in Carpinteria, CA. It's focus is the aggregation, production and distribution of premium ocean content for an array of media--specifically, broadband Internet, television, and DVD home video. The Ocean Channel, Inc. was founded in April of 2000 as a registered California corporation and seeks global partnerships with filmmakers, marine institutes, universities, and marine conservation organizations.
A UNESCO initiated media and ICT platform developing content locally from a wide diversity of cultural settings for branded distribution and interchange through broadcast, internet, cell-phone and related technologies. A multi-partner initiative, PPN focuses on youth, and on topics relating to sustainable development, health, economics, governance and other matters relating to stable societies. PPN sees a direct link between environmental issues and peace.
The University of North Carolina Wilmington Department of Environmental Studies gives students the depth of intellectual and analytical skills along with the scholarly background necessary to understand and solve today’s environmental problems. The process is interdisciplinary, drawing upon the resources of many related fields to provide the rigorous analysis necessary to understand environmental problems and formulate decisions that are environmentally sound.
