Recently, a group of scientist from South Africa, Sweden and Australia, spent days and nights out in the bush studying dung beetles. They were trying to understand how these beetles roll big balls of poop in the right direction, even at night. They discovered that the beetles, despite their tiny brains, are able to navigate by the light of the Milky Way.
